It took two months to find six turntablists worthy of fighting for the honour to represent SA against thirty-nine other countries at the DMC World Championships, being held in the UK later this year.
According to DMC SA Representative and owner of Choice Records, Quake, the five aspects of performance that compiled the judges’ criteria were originality, technical ability, stage presence, musicality and crowd control.
