Last week Thursday Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to gun charges in New York and was subsequently handed a prison sentence of 8 months.
Word just broke that his legal toubles ain't over. Although he has pleaded 'not guilty' Weezy still faces drug and gun charges in another state, namely Arizona after being arrested there last year when border patrol stopped his tour bus.
Border patrol officers found drugs such as weed, ecstasy & cocaine, 3 firearms and over $20 000 in cash. His court date for these charges is apparently in March 2010. One of the guns was registered to Wayne, fully licensed, whilst the other two belonged to other camp members.
Lil Wayne's lawyers expect him to get off this case. However, he's set to get formally sentenced in the New York case in Feb and serve his time shortly after...
