When the nominations for the Producer of the Year at the HYPE Awards were announced, the nominees were all called to the YFM studios, namely Don Juan, IV League, Dome, Bongani Fassie and 37 mph.
Although everyone didn't make it, Don Juan challenged the other producers, believing that he was the strongest nominee and rightful winner.
The award ultimately went to Dome... and we thought all the beef was over till the next award show. We thought wrong.
Recently Don Juan and AKA from IV Leaugue had another verbal war at the Jazzworx studios in Randburg. Over what you many ask? Over who's the best!
Don believes the award should've gone to him and his beat-making collective Octave Couplet, while many feel that IV League are strong competition and could've taken the award.
Anyway, we'll keep ya'll posted on any more verbal showdowns... don't ya just love the hype! Beef! Beef!
