With only three days to go, things are heating up in Nigeria as they prepare for the annual Hip Hop World Awards scheduled to go down at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on the 16th of May 09.
The awards feature a range of popular Nigerian hip hop and RNB artists including three times Lyricist on a Roll winner and Album of the Year nominee, Mode9.
Hosted by RNB singer Banky W and Nigerian radio personality Kemi Adetiba, the Hip Hop World Awards 2009 will also showcase some of Nigeria’s most prominent hip hop and RNB artists like D’Banj, M.I and more.
The awards boast a total of eighteen categories, which include Best Rap Single, Best Street Hop, Next Rated and African Artist of the year amongst others. Good luck to all the nominees and performers. Ladies and Gentlemen, brace yourselves for Hip Hop World Awards 2009- A Prize to Die For!
