Known as the Mayor of Spaza rap, Linz gets set to drop his album any day now. He used to manage Rattex but the relationship sadly dissolved when Rattex chose to move to Pioneer Unit, home of Ben Sharp, Konfab, Trusenz, DJ Raiko, Hipe, Archetypes, Driemanskap and Jaak.

HYPE: What happened between you and Rattex?
LINZ: Honestly, I’m still confused till this day. All I know is we were like brothers, who shared a dream of blowing up in Cape Town independently. The deal was that, he was going to push the music side of things, play ambassador for the sneaker brand and I was going to play the executive producer’s role.
