HYPE: How did you really get into hip hop?
AKA: Hip hop just took my love for music and gave me something to call my own. My whole generation was touched by it in one way or another. When I started writing, it’s like I found what I wanted to do for the next 30 years. With enough hard work, I managed to get into a position where other people could hear my music and experiences.
