
Superstar producer Scott Storch was arrested and charged with Grand Theft Auto and appeared in Broward County court last week, 10 April, where he pleaded not guilty. Scott had allegedly leased a Bentley from a local car rental company and failed to return it before the expiration date. According to the company, they could find the car for seven months.
Late last year Storch was on the receiving end of more bad publicity after DMX was arrested in his Palm Island home on charges of tax evasion and failing to support his [DMX] two sons.
Scott’s lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, released a statement earlier this week on behalf of the producer. "We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge. There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client."
