Earlier this year, development company WIDEawake purchased the West Coast record label Death Row Records, and have now signed a publishing deal with EverGreen to release new music under the label, including unreleased music by Tupac Shakur.
According to WIDEawake, the new Pac album is will drop next year on June 16 to commemorate 2Pac’s 2010 birthday, and will be distributed via EMI and E-1 in the United States.
Other expected releases by Death Row include The Chronic Re-Lit on September 1st 2009 which is said to feature four unreleased bonus tracks as well as a DVD with never before seen footage of Dr. Dre and other artists. Look out for more on the Death Row Records releases...
